Xi'an is more than 3,000 years old and was known as Chang'an in ancient times. For 1,000 years, the city was the capital for 13 dynasties, and a total of 73 emperors ruled here. Today the city has a pleasant cosmopolitan flair to it and it is worth visiting for the famed Terracotta Warriors alone. It has often been said that, "if you have not been to Xi'an, you have not been to China!"

We know it is difficult to find the perfect tour for your family, which is why we offer you the opportunity to add the city that is missing from your preferred itinerary, allowing you the ability to customize any of these tour options. Each of the tour cities can be added to one of the tour itineraries for the price listed. Note that Legacy Journey will insert the four-day tour or cruise where it best fits in the itinerary of the tour you’ve chosen. This is due to the cost, location and time of travel that is affected by the four-day addition to our standard tour itineraries.

Day1

Our guide will pick you up upon arrival and escort you to the hotel. Enjoy free time the rest of the day, whether you’re coming from another city in China or from the US!

Day2

Breakfast. Tour the City Wall, Optional: bike riding on the city wall. Lunch is at the awarding winning dumpling restaurant – Jiaozi Dumpling. Tour the Muslim Neighborhood and the Great Mosque. Grand Tang Dynasty Dinner Show.

Day3

Breakfast. Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Lunch. Tour the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Dinner is on your own.

Day4

Breakfast. Our guide will send you off for your next destination or back to the US!
