The information provided below refers to tours arranged by Legacy Journey. Customized tours and add-ons will vary in cost and procedure.
Group Tour Prices Include:
Bilingual tour guide, airport pick-up and drop off by guide, all Intra-China flights and ground transportation including airport tax, all Intra-China hotel accommodations in 3 or 4 star hotels including tax, sightseeing entrance fees, and orphanage fees.
Price Excludes:
International airfare, travel insurance, Visa processing fees, passport, additional side trips in China, spending money, laundry, room service fees, and business center fees at hotel.
Passports:
We encourage you to apply for a passport for you and your children now. Many people have experienced increased wait times for processing of a passport request and Legacy Journey can not be held responsible for failure to secure a valid passport. It is important to note that your passport should be valid for at least 6 months AFTER your planned return from China. Some travelers have experienced reluctance to stamp an entrance VISA if the passport holder has less than 6 months valid remaining on their current passport.
Visas:
Legacy Journey will take care of the visa application process for you! This frees up more time for you to relax and prepare for your journey. We will guide you on how to fill out your visa application. Request and fill out the visa application form and the service order form. Mail your forms back to us and we will take care of the rest!
Travel Insurance:
While not required, Legacy Journey encourages all customers to consider purchasing travel insurance.
Orphanage Visits:
Legacy Journey cannot guarantee orphanage visits. We will try our best to secure a visit to your child’s province and orphanage. However, please be aware that there is always a chance that circumstances could occur to prohibit an orphanage visit.
Physical Demands:
Travel can often be physically demanding for persons of all ages. We recommend checking with your doctor if you feel your health may not be adequate for international travel. Many areas of China are not suited for disabilities requiring wheel chairs.
Waiver of Liability:
All participants must sign and submit to Legacy Journey a Waiver of Liability. Any supplemental programs/tours or events not arranged by Legacy Journey are not included in this policy.
