Most people choose to call home using Skype, which is a free internet program you can download, if calling from computer to computer. Using the free version allows you to call another computer using video chat if you have internet access and a microphone or webcam. Skype can also be used to call from your computer to a landline for a small fee. See skype.com for more information.

Calls to the U.S. can be made from your room but service fees are high. If you have AT&T international home phone service, you can charge to your home phone using USA Direct. MCI and Sprint also offer international calling card capabilities. We recommend that you contact your phone service provider before your trip to assure that you will not be charged additional fees.
