Guilin is a beautiful city. The town center is surrounded by two rivers and four lakes and studded with sheer sided karst mountains. Outside the city center, the buildings are less well kept. The main industry in the city is tourism so the city is much cleaner than other Chinese cities.

We know it is difficult to find the perfect tour for your family, which is why we offer you the opportunity to add the city that is missing from your preferred itinerary, allowing you the ability to customize any of these tour options. Each of the tour cities can be added to one of the tour itineraries for the price listed. Note that Legacy Journey will insert the four-day tour or cruise where it best fits in the itinerary of the tour you’ve chosen. This is due to the cost, location and time of travel that is affected by the four-day addition to our standard tour itineraries.

Day1

Our guide will pick you up upon arrival and escort you to the hotel. Enjoy free time the rest of the day.

Day2

Breakfast. Tour the Elephant Trunk Hill and Seven Star Park. Lunch. Tour the Reed Flute Cave and a local university campus. Dinner is on your own. Optional: Ethnic singing and dancing show at a local theater.

Day3

Breakfast. Cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo with lunch on board. Enjoy this enigmatic town with breathtaking scenery. Ride a bicycle (or an electric car) to explore the countryside. Return to Guilin in the evening. Dinner on your own.

Day4

Breakfast. Our guide will send you off for your next destination.
